Spread over an area of 13 acres the Corbett Hideaway is concealed in the thick of a mango grove, where in season, the mangoes hang ripe and luscious right against the door. Exotic mixed shrubbery, alive with flowers, is crossed by pebbled paths leading to charming cottages with open sit outs. The wonderful stillness is broken only by the sound of the Kosi River and myriad birds.

ACCOMMODATION: Cottage - The cottages are a great hideout for nature enthusiasts, researchers, writers, artists and folks in need of getting away. Independently air-conditioned cottages form a restful backdrop to verdant environs. Sloping tiled roofs, cool stone floors with throw rugs, block wood furniture allow maximum comfort while continuing the illusion of being in the wilds. Rooms have attached toilet & bath with running hot & cold water.

Family Suites: The cottages have a clear area separation for sleeping and living as in a suite. It has a small additional room with two beds for kids. Family Cottages have only one attached toilet & bath with running hot & cold water. The air-conditioning is only in the main bedroom.

Deluxe Cottages: They are structured as:

• 14 Room has one living room and one bedroom with one attached Bath and toilet.
• Rooms have one living room and one bedroom with two attached Bath and toilet.
• 14 rooms have a clear area separation for sleeping and living as in a suite. Rooms have attached toilet & bath with running hot & cold water.

Superior Cottages: These are the new designer rooms numbering 14. The cottages are a great hideout for nature enthusiasts, researchers, writers, artists and folks in need of getting away.

• There is space aplenty.
• The sprawling swimming pool is incredibly blue.
• The high ceiling Gurney House gives elegant shelter for lounging or indulgent dining.
• The erratic lawns turn and rise into surprising landscapes, with a view of the river.
• The library, an open deck, invites you to re-read Corbett’s Man Eaters of Kumaon.

DINING:

• Gurney House: This multi-cuisine restaurant serves a variety of Indian, Mughlai, Chinese and Continental cuisines.
• The High Bank, an open deck-area adjacent to the restaurant over looking the Kosi River.
• Jim's Grill: This specialty grill house, located close to swimming pool.
• The Tusker Bar: This thematic bar is located right next to the pool.

CONFERENCES & MEETINGS: Conference and seminars get transformed into extraordinary experiences at Corbett Hideaway. The air-conditioned conference hall (60 by 27 feet) can accommodate 150 people in auditorium formation, 125 people in class formation and 45 in an intimate U-shape formation.

The conference hall provides for high quality audio & visual aids including over head & LCD projection, PA & music systems to facilitate high performance business meetings.

RECREATONAL:

• The Nature Shop: Charming souvenirs & memorabilia are for the picking at the nature shop. The shop also stocks herbal cosmetics and fascinating local handicrafts.
